I’m preparing to go back to California for the first time since we moved last summer. I’ve been missing my family and friends, and also the flavors of SoCal, so expect me to be over-indulging in In-N-Out before the long drought begins again. It’s a social trip, but also a business one, as I’ll be spending several days in San Diego at the Romance Writers of America annual conference. This is the big one, 2000 romance writers gathered in one place to talk, pitch, learn, and collect way too many books. I’ll be pitching the first book in the series I’ve been working on. I’m trying to figure out a title for it, which is never easy. I’m great at thinking of catchy titles, but they rarely have anything to do with the actual book. When I’ve got one figured out, I’ll be sure to share it. In the meantime, I’m practicing my pitch, polishing my manuscript, and packing my clothes. I can’t wait to be with other writers who love happy endings as much as I do!

Make sure you are signed up for my newsletter. I only send them when I have news…so I sent my first one in almost a year last week. Not only do you get to stay on top of what’s going on with my books, I always share a favorite recipe. Last week was strawberry shortcake. What more enticement do you need?
